Contracts undergo various changes at the different stages through which they pass as a result of developments taking place around the world. Given the significant impact of technology on contracting, new contracts have emerged that are predominantly digital in their formation, creation and performance. However, it is not possible to enumerate all contracts associated with the digital sphere and those that use technology and electronic means.Because digitalisation affects contracting, and as a result of the integration of technology with legislation, modern principles have emerged and been introduced into contracting. Contracting parties must therefore become familiar with these principles in order to ensure the proper completion of transactions, their confidentiality, and the integrity of the contracting process.
