Strategic Technology Management in the Age of Disruptive Innovation: A Longitudinal Analysis of Organizational Performance

Povzetek

This  study  examines  the  impact  of  strategic  technology  management  on  organizational performance  within  disruptive  innovation,  employing  a  longitudinal  analysis  across  various industries  in  China's  Chengdu  region.  The  research  highlights  the  significance  of  strategic technology  planning,  adoption,  and  innovation  processes  as  critical  factors  driving  revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. The findings reveal strong positive correlations between these technology management strategies and key performance metrics, emphasizing the importance of a proactive and holistic approach to managing technological change. The study also  identifies  several  challenges  organizations  face  in  effectively  managing  technology, including  technological   complexity,   organizational   inertia,   and   talent   acquisition   issues. Mitigation strategies, such as specialized training programs, change management initiatives, and competitive talent management, are proposed to address these challenges. The results underscore the need  for a proactive and holistic approach to managing technological change, providing actionable  insights  for  managers  and  policymakers  aiming  to  navigate  the  complexities  of technological change in a rapidly evolving business environment. This research contributes to the broader knowledge economy by offering a comprehensive framework for understanding the dynamic  interplay  between  technology  management  and  organizational  performance.  The findings underscore the need for organizations to prioritize strategic technology management to maintain a competitive edge and achieve sustained success in the age of disruptive innovation.
