The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping all aspects of human life, including the legal field. In the age of AI, law faces unprecedented challenges that range from issues of accountability, liability, and data protection to the broader implications of algorithmic decision-making in judicial processes and legal practice. This paper explores how AI technologies influence the interpretation, application, and enforcement of law, as well as their impact on fundamental rights and freedoms. It also examines the opportunities AI provides for enhancing efficiency, transparency, and access to justice, while identifying the risks of bias, lack of human oversight, and ethical dilemmas. By analyzing current debates and international legal frameworks, the study highlights the urgent need for adaptive legal systems capable of governing AI responsibly. Ultimately, it argues that law in the age of AI must strike a balance between innovation and protection, ensuring that technological progress serves the interests of justice and human dignity.
