The announcement of public procurement is a preliminary procedure and a practical applicationof the principle of transparency in public procurement procedures. The Algerian legislator hasensured its inclusion in Public Procurement Law No. 23-12. The importance of announcingpublic procurement has been reinforced by organizing the announcement through accreditedelectronic press, which broadens awareness of public procurement and provides the opportunityfor the largest possible number of economic operators to submit their bids to contract with thepublic purchaser.
