Skupnostno tolmačenje za lokalne javne institucije v Mariboru – Izvedba medkulturne pravne klinike

Prispevek se osredotoča na možnost zagotavljanja prevajalsko-tolmaških storitev, ki se izvajajo pod vodstvom mentorjev in so namenjene pravnim tolmačem in strokovnjakov na sodišču v Mariboru v obliki medkulturne klinike, ki je organizirana kot izbirni predmet na univerzitetni ravni. V empiričnem delu članek obravnava rezultate intervjujev s pravnimi tolmači in strokovnjaki na kazenskem oddelku sodišča v Mariboru. Na podlagi gradiva, pridobljenega s pomočjo vprašalnikov in intervjujev, v tem poglavju analizirava poglede pravnih tolmačev in pravnih strokovnjakov na njihovo vlogo, medsebojno sodelovanje, konflikte, ki lahko nastanejo, ter na omejitve njihovih funkcij, vse v okviru obstoječega nudenja storitev tolmačenja, ki se izvaja na sodišču v Mariboru. Analiza podatkov je vodila k ustanovitvi medkulturne pravne klinike v obliki izbirnega predmeta na Filozofski fakulteti Univerze v Mariboru. Raziskava je bila izvedena v okviru projekta “TransLaw: Exploring Legal Interpreting Service Paths and Transcultural Law Clinics for persons suspected or accused of a crime” (v slovenščini: TransLaw: raziskovanje poti za storitve pravnega tolmačenja in Medkulturna pravna klinika za osebe, osumljene ali obtožene kaznivih dejanj), ki ga je financirala Evropska unija.
