Kaj svetniki pričakujejo od pospeševalnih županov: Zaželene vodstvene kompetence v oglasih za županske položaje na Nizozemskem in kako nanje vpliva velikost občine

Povzetek

Besedila zaposlitvenih oglasov za županske položaje na Nizozemskem nudijo neposredne dokaze o tem, kaj svetniki pričakujejo od pospeševalnih županov. V tem članku smo izvedli avtomatsko analizo vsebine 231 oglasov in uporabili fokusne skupne za interpretacijo rezultatov. Odkrili smo, da zaželene lastnosti kandidatov za župane vključujejo moralno primerno vedenje, da delujejo kot posredniki v lokalni upravi in širše ter da so zagnani, sposobni empatije in učinkovite komunikacije. Nadalje smo odkrili, da velikost občine vpliva na zaželenost vodstvenih kompetenc, obenem pa tudi, da je njen vpliv omejen. To odkritje kaže, da so zaželene kvalitete za lokalno vodenje manj odvisne od konteksta, kot smo predhodno domnevali.
