Abstract

This research is in the context of developing Indonesian language textbooks based on Borg and Gall etnopedagogi model. Validity testing involved 2 lecturers and 40 people divided into 2 groups of students at the "State Hindu Institute in Tampung Penyang Palangka Raya Central Kalimantan". Validity analysis techniques used the Lawshe method and product moment analysis. Effect Size (ES) analysis used pretest and posttest data. The results of the study were (1) The development of Indonesian language textbooks based on etnopedagogi can improve learning achievement as evidenced by the pretest results from 65.15 to 93.95 in the posttest, an increase of 28.80% was significant category (2) The development of Indonesian language textbooks based on etnopedagogi meets content validity as shown in the average CVR of 92.73% in the very high category, (3) The development of Indonesian language textbooks based on etnopedagogi is very effective as shown by the T-Test of 8.965 and Effect Size (ES) of 1.417. It can be concluded that the etnopedagogi-based Indonesian language textbook product from the development results is effective for use as lecture material.
