This study explores the role of reconstructing revolutionary historical music memory in cultivating college students' ability to cope with setbacks. The ability to cope with setbacks is a key psychological quality that affects college students' social adaptation. Research has found that revolutionary historical music can enhance college students' psychological resilience at a deeper level through emotional resonance and the reconstruction of collective memory. The experimental design includes three intervention modules: symbol decoding of revolutionary historical music, controlled situational simulation training, and collective memory co creation. After music intervention, the experimental group of college students showed significantly better performance than the control group in terms of cognitive reappraisal ability, stress perception level, intention to seek help, and persistence time in challenging tasks. In addition, the experimental group also showed significant improvements in subjective experiences such as emotional recovery efficiency, subjective well-being, and social belonging. Physiological data shows that revolutionary historical music can effectively regulate the autonomic nervous system of college students and alleviate stress responses. The research results indicate that revolutionary historical music, as an emotional cultural carrier, can effectively enhance the psychological adaptability of college students when facing setbacks, providing new ideas and methods for psychological intervention.
