Abstract

Most countries seek to adopt new economic models that move away from traditional pillars. Algeria follows this trend, particularly by abandoning reliance on hydrocarbons as the primary source of financing for the public treasury. Thus, the growing interest in start-ups has become essential worldwide, as the conviction has been firmly established that industrial enterprises must be stimulated and used as tools to achieve the desired economic and social objectives, after the previous focus had been solely on large enterprises and industrial poles.

Accordingly, Algeria’s policy has shifted toward searching for new ways to invest and build the economy in order to stimulate development. This has led to an increased interest in start-ups, which rely on encouraging creative and innovative skills within the institutional environment.

Start-up projects are considered a key driver of economic growth and future planning, as well as an essential contributor to achieving sustainable development.
