The research problem studied is the result of bank mergers on the presentation of employees in a sample of the banks in the NCR region in Uttar Pradesh in the public sector. The Indian banking industry has experienced a wave of consolidations that have been directed at improving its level of operational efficiency, competitiveness, and financial stability. The results showed that motivation, job-satisfaction, and organizational commitment are positively associated with the performance of employees, but the work-load is undesirably correlated with the presentation of the employees. The findings indicate that effective communication, role clarity, and employee engagement are critical to post merger success. The research helps understand the human dimension of mergers in the Indian banking sector and offers the strategic recommendations to policy makers and the HR managers to improve the productivity of employees in the organization during the transition period.
