THE ETHICAL RISKS OF USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BY CHILDREN FROM THE PARENTS' PERSPECTIVE

The researcher aimed to investigate the ethical risks of using artificial intelligence by children from the parents’ perspective in Jordan. He adopted a quantitative approach and targeted 11 variables in order to identify the parents' perspective. He developed a five point Likert survey. (100) parents were chosen purposively from pediatric clinics located in Amman, Jordan. They were surveyed. SPSS software was employed to analyze data. Based on the results, there are ethical risks associated with using artificial intelligence technologies by children. Such risks negatively affect children from the parents’ perspective in Jordan. In the light of the results, the researcher recommends conducting studies about the negative impacts of using AI applications on adolescents in Jordan.
