The Ru skirt of the Tang Dynasty is distinguished from other dynasties by its light and sheer open-chest design that fully reveals the physical beauty of women. Currently, the Tang Dynasty Ru skirt has once again become the favorite of women, with improvements and developments in its shirt and skirt design on the basis of traditional garment styles, gradually adapting to the lifestyle needs of modern women. This article takes the characteristics of Tang Dynasty Ru skirt design and the features of modern reproductions and innovations of Tang Dynasty Ru skirt as the research focus, discussing the new developments of Tang Dynasty Ru skirt design in contemporary times and the social conditions of the Tang Dynasty and present times reflected behind it, as well as the aesthetic culture contained therein.
