This article highlights the importance of language corpora and their role in the teaching and learning of Arabic across linguistic and literary domains and across various modules. It does so by examining selected representative models through description, analysis, and evaluation to assess their effectiveness and efficiency in meeting, first, the requirements of the Arabic language and, second, the needs of learners. This study attempts to address the following research question: Do specialised language corpora in the Arabic language and literature provide added scholarly value for university students and learners? Through this investigation, the study aims to affirm the role of such corpora in enhancing the success of the teaching and learning process.
