Sreča, ljubezen, trajnostni razvoj in pravo: koncept novega socialnega modela in vloga države in prava

V prispevku avtor obravnava glavne razloge za neuspeh pri doseganju trajnostnega razvoja. Glavni razlog za ta neuspeh avtor vidi v pretirani in enostranski usmeritvi zahodne civilizacije v materialni vidik življenja. V ozadju tega pa obstaja še globlji mehanizem, ki obvladuje naša dejanja: človekova želja “biti srečen”. Avtor meni, da se ljudje ne zavedamo, da je pot do sreče povezana z duhovno in materialno rastjo, ne pa zgolj z materialno rastjo. Naša obsedenost z materialnostjo korenini v prepričanju, da je materialna (ekonomska) rast pot do sreče. V okolje in življenja drugih ljudi smo tako zelo nepremišljeno posegli predvsem zaradi naše nenasitnosti po materialnih dobrinah.Vendar pa je ljubezen bistvena za naše življenje in pot do ljubezni vodi skozi duhovno in materialno rast. Avtor zato poudarja nujo po transformaciji obstoječe razvojne paradigme v novo paradigmo s celostnim pogledom na razvoj, ki bo vključeval tako duhovno kot materialno rast. Državo in pravo bi morali “uporabiti” kot glavna orodja za dosego sreče kot našega glavnega cilja. Za dosego trajnostnega razvoja potrebujemo “trajnostno državo” in “trajnostno pravo”.
