Abstract

This study examines how Dynamic Capabilities (DCC) influence Market Performance (MARKPERF) and investigates the role of Business Intelligence Analytic Capabilities (BIAC) as a mediator in this relationship. The study applies the PROCESS Macro Model 4 developed by Hayes (2022) to test the hypotheses and examine how dynamic capabilities influence market performance through business intelligence. Data gathered from 415 managers in the IT and ITES sectors in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The results reveal that while DCC has a negative direct effect on market performance, its positive indirect effect through BIAC significantly enhances market performance. The study highlights the importance of building business intelligence infrastructures to leverage dynamic capabilities for improved organizational performance. This paper offers valuable insights into the mechanisms that link organizational capabilities to performance outcomes and discusses the implications for both theory and practice.
