This paper explores the role of local self
government in shaping education policies, improving access to education, and
fostering social inclusion. Local governance has a dir ect impact on the way education policies are implemented,
particularly in diverse and geographically distributed communities. The study employs a qualitative approach,
analyzing case studies of local governments that have successfully integrated inclusive education policies. The findings
suggest that decentralization of educational authority to local governments significantly enhances access to education,
promotes equitable resource distribution, and encourages community driven social inclusion efforts. The significance of
this research lies in its potential to inform future educational policy reforms at the local level.
